Decide on the new Monopoly piece

When it comes to Monopoly, it's always tough deciding which piece to play with.

So we can't think of anything worse than trying to choose which playing token to get rid of and which modern version should take its place.

But that's exactly what the swines at Hasbro are asking you to do.

Held on the Monopoly Facebook page, the public are voting on which current piece is tossed aside to make way for a new one.

You can vote for a cat, diamond ring, guitar, toy robot or helicopter to take the place of either the ship, boot, top hat, thimble, race car, iron, wheelbarrow or dog.

Most tokens were born with Monopoly's public introduction in 1935, but the Scottie dog and wheelbarrow joined the game nearly 20 years later in 1952. The page's leader board shows the iron and wheelbarrow as the most likely to be doomed.

Voting ends February 5th.
