Dave Gorman is responsible for one of the biggest tweet based LOLs we've ever had. We were close to a LOVL - thank God nobody but our webcam was there to see such awfulness. "Jim Davidson's written a novel," Dave twittaged. "Close your eyes & imagine the cover. Now open them, click this and see if you were right." For tweets like this, we love following Gorman, but who does he follow?

"He just constantly uses Twitter to try ideas and to push himself. Many comedians will use it to showcase their jokes so to speak, but he uses it to actually stimulate jokes, and generate new material. His Twitter feed is like a joke writing workshop of the highest order. You can ask him any question and he'll figure out a funny answer to it, which I think is just remarkable. Personally, I like to think of using Twitter as like having a conversation anyway, Peter uses that art to be really playful and creative."

"Man of science, morals and principal. Everyone builds Twitter in their own image in one way or another, and Ben’s Twitter reflects him very well. I think he’s a good journalistic source of information and campaigning. The way he was fighting over the NHS bill was very noble but he's not just about that one issue. Enduring things like The X Factor and The Apprentice suddenly becomes enjoyable, but, still, I won't go as far as Take Me Out."

I think it's nice to enhance your Twitter feed with some art, and this isn’t just art it is art designed for the medium. They are genuine complete stories, that tell you something. Some are funny, some are dark, some are really beautiful. In fact, I think there's a simple beauty of some kind just in making any story a complete story, in such a short form. He's mixing links and funniness, and just being himself on Twitter, which is something that I enjoy. When I first heard about Twitter I was wary. I thought it was going to be, "I am having a pizza," "I am thirsty", "I am meeting Steve," and obviously a lot of people are doing that, but that's not the point of it. The sharing of links, of observations, and the word of mouse is what Twitter is brilliant for. People like Gary are very good at it."
