Bizarre Underwater Remake Of Pulp Fiction Scene

Bizarre Underwater Remake Of Pulp Fiction Scene

Bizarre Underwater Remake Of Pulp Fiction Scene
17 December 2014

Tarantino fans have all done it. Trapped in a car in traffic, during a lull in conversation at the pub or in response to an unintentional quote, we've all re-enacted one of the great man's eloquent scenes at some point. But not many of us have been submerged for the whole performance.

The inventive YouTubers TheFineBros have taken the art of fan remakes to new heights (or rather, depths) with an utterly baffling recreation of the Pulp Fiction scene that sees Samuel L Jackson's Jules Winnfield deliver his infamous Ezekiel quotation, underwater

Filmed with shot-for-shot accuracy in what we assume is a swimming pool, the 100-second scene is an odd spectacle: how do the actors manage to stay submerged so comfortably? How long did they have to hold their breath for? How do you stop a tie floating into your face underwater? And most importantly, why on earth would you go through the hassle of creating it?

Still, we're glad they've got enough time on their hands to come up with this stuff. Stay tuned to their Underwater Movie channel for more wet remakes.
