This writer's day hasn't been great, all told. Lost four followers on Twitter due to a misjudged 'floppy breasts' retweet and missed out on the brownies that the lovely freelancer bought in because I was in a meeting about department 'synergy'.

Still people have had worse. A disgruntled worker in Bristol had such a shocker that he hurled desks, chairs and computers from the window of his high-rise office.

The man had his 'issues' while on the 10th floor of the 262ft building and is believed to be a disgruntled former worker who ran amok, smashing doors, office furniture and setting off fire extinguishers and fire alarms.

Workers assembled downstairs, as is practice when alarms sound, just in time to see the debris rain down. A computer, a printer, a desk and a chair' were hurled out of the window.

The man is yet to be charged. Oddly.
