Astonishing Glass Labyrinth

Outdoor mazes and labyrinths are as unforgiving as they are confusing. Just thaw out the frozen corpse of Jack Torrance for proof of that.

So cross your fingers for anyone about to brave the new Glass Labyrinth at Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art's sculpture park in Kansas City, an outdoor installation with 1-inch thick glass which could well see as much head scratching as head bumping.

62ft by 62ft, measuring 7ft tall, weighing just shy of 1m pounds and taking two months to install, it's a superbly complex way to highlight the park’s 25th anniversary.

If our rich experience watching people walking into plain glass windows on YouTube is anything to go by, it looks ripe for a live video feed.
