Wrapping paper is more usually something you've to deal with a bag full of on Boxing Day, but we've learned today it can have more than one application than concealing the boiled sweets you've bought your nan.
Artist Benedict Morgan has taken to wrapping everyday objects (well, everyday if your average day includes a Luger) in patterned wrapping paper, then photographing them in front of backgrounds of the same pattern. And, we think you'll agree, the results are pretty damned interesting to look at.
Although we're still waiting for the Christmas-pudding-patterned edition.
