Arcade Machines Made Miniature

Paying for the pleasure of obliterating your thumbs might not sound like fun, but try telling that to anyone who inserted serious coinage to bash their digits on arcade machines during the years of 1988 and 1995.

Those were some vintage years all right. And now thanks to Mexico based graphic designer Karen Novelo, whose new series takes on Capcom game cabinets in miniature form, there’s a whole new reason to pine for those simpler gaming glory days.

The isometric poly models include a wealth of Capcom’s finest efforts – from Street Fighter to other bash-someone-on-the-head classics, both game and cabinet design have been shrunk down to Borrower-sized magnitudes for the Candy Cab Project.

As for the artist's next step, it's simple: small coins.
