Apple Macs Upcycled As Furniture

What do you do with an old laptop? Seems like a waste to chuck it out. To discard all those formative years of yelling at it for loading web pages too slowly - you've bonded, and that sort of relationship doesn't come cheap.

Designer Klaus Geiger clearly feels this way about the Apple G5 Power Mac. Unveiled by Steve Jobs in 2003, the machines have a distinctive aluminium case that has made them something of a design classic. 

Geiger, unable to part with his computers, has gutted the cases and turned them into contemporary furniture via a project he's calling benchmarc.
