Aircraft Undersides Photography

You know that moment in Lost during the first episode when the aircraft breaks in half and all the passengers end up on a desert island? Well, this is nothing like that other than it's to do with planes.

These awesome jet pictures look like they're cleverly photographed miniature toys, but in actual fact they're real shots of the undersides of various types of planes as they land.

Brave snapper Jeffrey Milstein managed to shoot each one by positioning himself at the end of the runway at Los Angeles International Airport and pointing his lens upwards.

His collection entitled 'AirCraft: The Jet As Art' shows off the fuselage of air vehicles ranging from a British Boeing 747 to a Goodyear blimp.

His subjects also include a Sikorsky SK-64E Helicopter, an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 emblazoned with Disney characters and the "most fearsome jet fighter in history", the £89 ($137) million Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor.
