$3m Soviet Bomber Listed On eBay

L2, LEFT, LEFT, R1, L1, CIRCLE, RIGHT - as any gamer who’s ever hammered these commands into their PS3 controller will attest, normally speaking, this is the easiest way of getting your hands on a war plane.

Perhaps not for much longer...

A former Soviet Tupolev TU-95 aircraft capable of carrying Kh-55 cruise missiles and nuclear warheads alike has been listed on eBay, this weekend, for the 'low-cost' of $3m.

In the listing, since removed, its one careful owner claimed the bomber has 4,500 hours of flying left on the clock, and that any prospective flyer must have special training beforehand.

As for picking up the 27-year-old steel titan, airbases in either Nikolayev or Odessa on Ukraine's Black Sea coast were offered as suggestions.

$3m or not, posting and packaging was always going to be tricky.
