The Whole Damn Farm Burger

The Whole Damn Farm Burger

The Whole Damn Farm Burger
10 April 2015

Since the tragic end of our Search for the UK's Best Burger, we've been missing a bite of the good stuff - but the burger gods have sent something to answer our prayers.

The Whole Damn Farm Burger is the fiendish creation of Sam Longhurst, head chef of Splendid Kitchen in Manchester. The 10-inch, half-a-kilogram monster features - as the name hints at - six types of three different meats, and packs an impressively gargantuan 2,000 calories.

The full cast list includes two beef burgers, barbecued pulled pork, four rashers of bacon, homemade bacon jam, a whole special recipe fried chicken thigh, honey roast ham chunks and three different cheeses on a locally-made, freshly-baked bun. Oh, and there's some salad in there too, just in case you're watching your weight.

It costs £13.50 which is actually quite reasonable when you consider you probably won't need to eat again for a week.
