We’ve seen the future of waffle eating and that future is, you guessed it, ice cream flavoured.
For this you can post your letters of thanks to Dominque Ansel, the self-anointed Willy Wonka of desserts who previously blessed the world with the cronut, and is now redefining how we consume sugary treats once more with the Waffogato.
Amalgamating ice cream with Belgian waffle mix, tapioca balls and salt, the waffle is sat in a cup where warm, maple syrup espresso is poured over. For the official experience you'll need to head over to the chef's bakery in Soho, New York City from 9 May.
Because, you know, consuming waffles clearly wasn’t a pleasant enough experience already.
