A festival dedicated to chicken wings is coming to London

All the best wings in the country will be there

A festival dedicated to chicken wings is coming to London
29 January 2018

While sparing a thought for our vegetarian-minded friends, most of us can agree that chicken wings are on the list of ‘good things’ in this world.

Our friends over at Mr Hyde have joined up with London Wing Fest to celebrate the UK’s first National Chicken Wing Day on 22 March 2018. It’s an official day, in the same weird but accepted ballpark as Puzzle Day, Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, and National Frozen Food Day.

More than 250 wing venues across the UK will be offering 50% off their selection of wings. And as no day is worth its salt without some kind of exclusive event (preferably in east London) there’ll be one held at The Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. There’ll be donuts from Donut Time (for carbs), a roaming blues band (for sophistication) fully stocked bars (for obvious reasons) and the winners of London Wing Fest 2017.

They’ll be a huge selection of creations from Randy’s Wing Bar, Lord of the Wings, Buffalo Joes and Mother Flipper to name just a few, ensuring you chow down on the very best wings and drop the very best hot sauce down your new T-shirt.

Tickets to the event are £15 per person, so grab one now to avoid a lifetime of regret.
