This is how you can be in the next Tom Hardy movie
27 March 2018

Among the many exciting Tom Hardy projects on the horizon (including his super exciting Venom project), one we’re really looking forward to is Fonzo – his portrayal of notorious gangster Al Capone.

Written by Fantastic Four director Josh Trank, the film follows a 47-year-old Al Capone after 10 years in prison.

Here’s the synopsis of the film:

Once a ruthless businessman and bootlegger who ruled Chicago with an iron fist, Alfonse Capone was the most infamous and feared gangster of American lore. At the age of 47, following nearly a decade of imprisonment, dementia rots Alfonse’s mind and his past becomes present as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins melt into his waking life.

Now, casting directors have put out an open casting call looking for talent of all ages to work on the film at the end of March and into April.

According to Nine9 Talent: “This is a paid opportunity to work in a feature film based on the later stages of Al Capone’s life and starring Tom Hardy.”

Importantly, the filming is taking place in New Orleans so you’d have to be ready to hop on a plane to get there. But this is Tom Hardy we’re talking about… totally worth it!

The movie is set in the 1940s, so you can’t have an unnatural hair color, a modern hairstyle, any modern piercings, or braces on your teeth, according to the casting people.

You also need to be okay with getting your hair cut to reflect the 1940s’ style. Free haircut? Bonus!

Here’s the full breakdown of who they’re looking for:

Kids: Sicilian and Italian American looking boys and girls (6+ years old) to portray Al Capone’s grand kids.

Family: 20s – 70s, Sicilian and Italian American looking men and women to portray Al Capone’s family members.

Goons: 20s – 40s, Sicilian and Italian looking men (18+ years old) to portray Al Capone’s goons.

Cuban maids: 30s – 70s, Cuban and Hispanic looking women (18+ years old) to portray Al Capone’s cuban staff.

Groundskeepers: 30s – 70s, Cuban and Hispanic looking men (18+ years old) to portray Al Capone’s Cuban groundskeepers.
