The first episode of the Carpool Karaoke TV series is now available – and it’s off to a bang by the looks of it.

The spin-off series from James Corden’s Late Late Show, which is streaming exclusively on Apple Music, has kicked off with Will Smith taking the hotseat and belting out a few of his famous hits, including one with an unexpected accompaniment and revealing that he spoke to Barack Obama about playing him in a movie.

The first six minutes of the episode are available to watch on YouTube – right here, in fact:

The full thing is available only on Apple Music, which is a bit annoying for people without Apple Music, but that’s how the world works guys – get used to capitalism because it’s going nowhere.

Strangely, Corden won’t be appearing in every episode of the new season, but guests confirmed to appear include Metallica, Seth MacFarlane, Billy Eichner, John Legend, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, John Cena, Shaquille O’Neil, and Game Of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams. A new episode will debut on Apple Music every Tuesday – the series trailer is below:
