[DON'T READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU'RE NOT UP TO DATE WITH GAME OF THRONES]
...Jon Snow got stabbed by half the Night's Watch in the final episode of season five, looking pretty dead, his fate has been uncertain. On the one hand, he's the handsomest hunk in Westeros, and he's one of the main characters in the show, and a bunch of unanswered questions surrounding his parentage and background remain mysteries. On the other, Game Of Thrones kills people willy-nilly, and he sure got stabbed a lot.
In an interview promoting his board-treading as the title character in Doctor Faustus (by Christopher Marlowe, who he was named after), Kit Harington either shed some light on what's happening, or shed no light at all.
"I filmed some scenes of me being dead," he told Time Out. "It's some of my best work. Look, I'm not in the show any more. I'm definitely not in the new series."
When pressed for more information, he came out with the tantalisingly teasing "I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"
So he's either in it for a bit as a corpse... or only a corpse for a bit. Then alive? But then, not in it? WE KNOW NOTHING, JON SNOW.
