Someone has made a supercut of all 150,966 'Game of Thrones' deaths

Yes, it really is that many

Someone has made a supercut of all 150,966 'Game of Thrones' deaths
16 June 2017

It’s exactly a month tomorrow until season seven of Game of Thrones finally premieres in the UK. Just 30 measly days until this most arduous of waits is over and we can start sharing memes, humming the theme tune (endlessly) and shouting at the Americans for spoiling every episode before we’ve had a chance to watch them.

In the meantime, I’d like to point everyone in the direction of YouTuber Leon Andrew Razon’s latest video, which – and brace yourselves for this – condenses all 150,966 deaths from all six seasons to date into just 21 minutes. That’s a precise estimate that includes animals. Every last solider, servant, serpent and little fluffy wabbit to have met his/her/its demise in Westeros is in this gory supercut. He could easily be a few Direwolves out, but we’re not about to start demanding a recount.

As well as giving us the chance to relive iconic deaths like that of Joffrey, Jon Snow (yep, he’s counted), poor old Ned, and Tywin Lannister on the can, we’re reminded of some of the show’s most brutal fights. 1,000+ sailors claimed by the Battle of Blackwater Bay, 1,100+ horses in the Battle of the Bastards and 100,000 Free Folk at Hardhome.

Given that everything we’ve heard about season seven suggests it’s all about to kick off, expect many more stabbings, decapitations, poisonings and angry dragon wipeouts to be added to that ridiculous tally in a month’s time. ONE MONTH PEOPLE.
