It's the most hotly-anticipated family battle since The Godfather.
September will see the cartoon giants of the Simpsons and the Griffins team up for a joint episode, and Fox have just released the first images from the show.
Entitled The Simpsons Guy (clever), it will see the Griffins take a roadtrip and end up in Springfield, where they are met by the friendly Homer Simpson, who introduces them to his family. Stewie and Bart get together, Lisa takes Meg under her wing, Marge and Lois team up and Peter and Homer fight to determine the best beer: Quahog's Pawtucket, or Springfield's Duff.
The two images released show Stewie and Bart, and Homer and Peter; the show will air in September at the start of The Simpson's 26th season, and Family Guy's 13th.
