Saturday Night Live is all but a comedy institution across the pond.

Entire Hollywood films have been forged on the back of simple sketches and, similarly, some of the show’s most memorable sketches have themselves been spoofs of famous scenes from film, like this latest one, which had the internet in uproar this past weekend.

Aping Dead Poets Society in terrific fashion, guest host Fred Armisen plays the Robin Williams role, returning to the repressive prep school he’s been forced out of only to see his former pupils give him a rousing send-off with ‘My captain, my captain’-esque’ encouragement.
