This is what’s happening in the Olympics today for Team GB

We all love the Olympics (well, unless you're Russian). But we're all busy people. We can't all afford the time to work out when the Judo preliminaries are taking place.

So we need to cut to the chase (literally) - what are the big moments for Team GB in Rio that we need to watch live, as they happen? Here's today's action:

12:30pm - Women's Cycling Time Trial: Team GB's Emma Pooley is going in this one

1pm - Men's Double Trap Shooting: Steve Scott is aiming for gold in this one, the heats get underway at 1pm, with the semi-final at 7pm, the bronze match at 7:15pm and the gold medal shootout at 7:25pm

2pm - Men's Cycling Time Trial: Chris Froome is back in action after missing out on a medal in the road race earlier in the games. This time he goes in the men's time trial where he stands a good chance of bring home some Team GB glory

2:22pm - Men's Quadruple Sculls Final: Team GB go for gold in the 'A' final of the quadruple sculls

4:30pm - Women's 69kg Weightlifting: 17-year-old Rebekah Tiler is gunning for victory in this event

4:30pm - Men's Rugby Sevens: Great Britain take on the mighty New Zealand in their final group game. They're well placed to qualify for the quarter-finals - they're currently top, with the top two sides and the two best third-place teams going through as well

5:30pm - Men's Canoe Slalam Kayak Single: Joe Clarke will be aiming to make the final, which takes place at 7:15pm

5:30pm - Women's Hockey: Great Britain aim to make it three wins in a row as they take on Argentina in the group stage

8pm - Men's 3m Synchronised Springboard Diving: Jack Laugher and Chris Mears are Team GB's medal hopes for this one

9pm-11pm - Men's Rugby Sevens: The four quarter-finals take place between these times, with Great Britain due to be one of the participants

12:30am - Men's Hockey: Team GB play Australia, aiming to follow up their 9-1 win against Brazil last night
