But Barcelona refused to give up, overturning a 4-0 first leg deficit, and the concession of an away goal against Paris St Germain to win 6-1 and go through to the Champions League quarter-finals, with the final three goals scored from the 88th minute onwards and the decisive sixth coming in the 95th from Sergi Roberto as PSG crumbled.
It’s already been acclaimed as the greatest comeback of all time – well, these guys would probably have something to say about that – but it was a game that will live long in the memory for all who saw it.
Barcelona? Well, they were ecstatic:
PSG? Not so much.
