Straight outta Compton to take over the world

This poster brilliantly demonstrates just how influential N.W.A. were
15 January 2016

When six kids in the city of Compton got together to start making music in 1986, even they probably didn't know just how much they would be changing the course of music.

Those six - Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, MC Ren, DJ Yella and Arabian Prince - were to form N.W.A., with their debut album Straight Outta Compton becoming one of the most influential albums of all time. Not only that, but when the group disbanded, the individual members, particularly Dre, were to go on to many other projects, labels and records.

To celebrate the DVD and Blu-ray release of their biopic, also called Straight Outta Compton, artist Christina Tate has designed this superb poster, which graphically shows the impact they've had on music ever since they got together.
