This is the most inventive Bowie street art tribute we’ve seen yet

Since David Bowie passed away last month, you’ve probably seen a vast array of attempts to immortalise him in the form of clever street art.

Most, like this Bowie mural in Sheffield, are utterly dreadful, although in our hearts of hearts we know that they mean well.

But, it is about a bloody time that someone finally created something that’s every bit as hypnotic and interesting as the man himself. Thankfully, this moment has arrived in the form of this brilliant illusion that’s appeared on some railings in the US.

No word on who the artist is just yet but Twitter speculation is pointing to a German duo named Zebrating who have something of a penchant for mindbending artwork.

Whoever it is that’s responsible, we approve.
