Tears For Fears are undoubtedly one of the most influential and successful acts of all time. Formed in Bath in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, they went to on to sell 25m albums and enjoy a string of hits, constantly developing their sound and experimenting with different styles and genres.
The first of these, The Hurting, released in 1983, will be rereleased in a 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition on October 21st, with the passing of the years not dimming the brilliance of this record. Featuring the classics Mad World, Change and Pale Shelter, the new release features a host of B-sides.
