Who? Sunflower Bean
What’s the story? Sometimes we all need something a little delicate and pretty in our lives, and New York trio Sunflower Bean are here to give us just that. Easier Said is the latest single to emerge ahead of debut album Human Ceremony, which will come out in February on respected indie label Fat Possum, and it's a chiming, gentle slice of none-more-indie indie. Singer Julia Cumming's vocals are so soft you feel like a gust of wind might knock them over, while Johnny Marr-style guitar licks weave in and out as the rhythm section pushes things along, gently, in the background. This is really rather good.
