Manchester is a city famous for its incredible music history and, in the wake of the terrible events at Manchester Arena on Monday evening, it was no surprise that it was the musical legends of the city that led the way in helping their compatriots come to terms with it.
They took to social media to express messages of sadness, of defiance, of love and of hope.
