Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has released a two-minute album preview clip onto YouTube.
Accompanied only by skittish 80s-style visuals, the clip features very few vocals, and instrumental snatches of around five different songs, performed by Julian's new backing band, The Voidz.
Initial impressions are of a guitar-heavy sound - some of which is very Iggy Pop-esque, with very few electronic elements on display.
There's no release date, merely a promise that there's a 'new album coming soon' - this will be Casablancas' second solo effort, following 2009's Phrazes for the Young.
Take a look and see what you think.
