Brilliant LEGO Glastonbury

We're surprised The Blockheads aren't on the bill for this.

Legoland Windsor has unveiled a brilliant model version of Glastonbury, complete with Pyramid Stage, camping punters, Dave Grohl - including leg cast - and Kim Kardashian chilling out backstage. There's even the dreaded, feared festival toilets.

The model took a team 720 hours to build and is comprised of 9,872 bricks - with 5,400 of them alone used for the 50cm high Pyramid Stage.

Legoland Windsor Resort PR Manager Lauren Moss commented, “The Glastonbury Festival has become such a British institution, it truly deserves a place here in Miniland. The Model Makers have had a huge amount of fun creating the scene and the Festival team have been really helpful giving us stage dimensions and sending a special consignment of Glastonbury ‘mud’ fresh from the farm. We think guests are going to love the scene which will remain a permanent feature here from today.”

We hope that when Lionel Richie plays the real thing on Sunday, he'll dedicate Brick House to its smaller, blockier cousin.
