Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody continues to bang at the box office, raking in another £3m at the UK box office this weekend, taking its total haul to £34.9m in its fourth week - and globally, it’s taken a whopping $386m, off a $55m budget. Hollywood execs will surely be gunning for a sequel at this rate. What was that? Oh. Never mind.

But while it’s been a runaway commercial success, it’s had mixed reviews, although a 62% Rotten Tomatoes score is far from a disaster.

But there’s no doubt why fans have loved it, and even critics have been forced to acknowledge some positive aspects: the phenomenal performance of Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, and the unarguable impact of the climactic Live Aid sequence.

And, as this viral video shows, everyone involved with the film clearly knew how important that set was going to be, and put the work in to make it as accurate as possible.

The side-by-side comparison of Bohemian Rhapsody’s depiction and the real thing - in the section where ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ (the song) segues into ‘Radio Ga Ga’ - shows just how much attention to detail there was, with the whole band recreating the moves flawlessly.

Of course, while this is clearly admirable, we can’t shake one thought from our heads.

Why not just watch the real thing?

Yeah, let’s all do that right now.

You’re welcome.
