Spoilers obviously...

Framed by cops? Justly locked up for life?

As the strange case of Steven Avery drags on thanks to Netflix’s smash documentary series Making a Murderer (which you can read about here if you’ve been living on the moon for the past fortnight), developments are coming thick and fast.

In the past week alone, Avery has claimed he now thinks his brothers could have committed the murder, a petition for a pardon from Barack Obama drew a response from The White House (waste of time it turns out – POTUS can only legally overturn federal convictions, not state ones) and now the show has an unofficial new theme tune, courtesy of The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach.

True, it's unlikely to get anyone out of jail anytime soon, but once you'll hear it you'll agree that it's a very good song.

Released under the name of his side-project The Arcs, and paired alongside an image of younger and amply bearded Avery, its psychedelic guitar twangs and haunting vocals oddly feel at home next to the prisoner’s hippy-like mugshot.

Written, recorded, mixed and mastered in 2 days, you can buy the single with all proceeds for the single to go to The Innocence Project.
