50 Pieces of Wisdom From Frank Sinatra Lyrics

There's no doubt about it: Ol' Blue Eyes knew a thing or two about life and how to live it.

One of the defining voices of the 20th Century, Frank Sinatra transcended popular culture with an acclaimed career that spanned six decades and also saw him branch out into acting, directing and producing.

2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of this icon, so what better way to celebrate it than by taking a look at some of the fantastic pieces of wisdom he imparted to us through song. Click on the gallery to get started and, who knows, you might learn a thing or two.

Meanwhile, his centenary is also being celebrated in the form of new, career-spanning collections of his timeless music called, appropriately enough, Ultimate Sinatra. Available in 25-track CD, 26-track digital, 24-track 180-gram heavyweight 2LP vinyl, and deluxe 101-track 4CD and digital editions, Ultimate Sinatra includes recordings for Columbia, Capitol and Reprise, together for the first time.

In addition, July will see the launch of Sinatra: The Man and His Music, at the London Palladium, which will celebrate 65 years since his first-ever UK performance took place there. This multi-media show combines ultra-rare and original master recordings of Frank with cutting edge technology and never before seen performance footage, all accompanied by a 24 piece orchestra and a company of 20 dancers and singers.

Ultimate Sinatra is released 21 April. Tickets for Sinatra are on sale from here
