We reckon you’ve never seen an actual human being look like this before

We’re all very used to looking at wrestlers and scratching our heads in an effort to figure out how they look the way they do.

You’ve got to be pretty huge to get to the top of WWE – just look at Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – and we thought we couldn’t be taken by surprise any more. We were wrong.

Our latest addition to the ‘how does he manage to look like that’ category is another wrestler to have delved into acting: Mr John Cena.

The 41-year-old is thought to be in line for the lead role in the upcoming Duke Nukem film, and the way he looks after his body is, quite frankly, enough to take anyone aback.

Cena will be in Melbourne in October to take on Kevin Owens at the WWE Super-Showdown, but before that he looks to be on his way to Shanghai for a September event.

That’s pretty soon, so you wouldn’t be surprised to learn the two-decade wrestling veteran has been training hard.

However, there’s getting in shape and then there’s getting in shape, and Cena has been doing the latter if the latest photo he shared on social media is anything to go by.

‘Jacked’ doesn’t even begin to cover a look that you’d assume was doctored if it came from near enough anyone else.

Oh, and if you want to see a ripped John Cena in video form, it’s just as ridiculous.

While he shows no signs of slowing down in the world of wrestling, Cena continues to stay busy in his second career as a Hollywood actor.

He stars in Transformers spin-off Bumblebee, due out in December 2018, while another of his projects – The Voyage of Dr Doolittle, with Robert Downey Jr – is currently filming.

Cena will just be a voice actor for that one, so there’s no concern about a ridiculously jacked talking animal. In a way, that’s a shame isn’t it? A film featuring a massively pumped rabbit is a film that we would definitely go and see.
