Hanson to release beer

Back in 1997, it's quite reasonable that you spent at least 10 minutes plotting the demise of Hanson.

The three brothers managed to torment the airwaves with their deviously catchy song MMMBop for an absurd amount of time and coupled with their silky long hair and suspiciously happy faces, they were right at the top of most people's hate lists.

Luckily, fate took over and the band disappeared refreshingly fast.

But now they're back and aiming to get us all drunk with their own beer. Next year, a pale ale, provisionally titled MMMHOP (groan), will hit the shelves. They revealed that it was one step in creating more of a Hanson brand for their fans (?!) to enjoy.

Weirdly, it's not the first Hanson-related merchandise to have been released.

"We have a board game and even a record player to play our last record on, but we will never make dolls, lunch boxes or toothbrushes that play our songs for example," Zac Hanson recently shared.

Since when was a song-playing toothbrush a thing? We'd like one though.
