The first trailer for Adam Sandler's Netflix film isn't that bad
28 October 2015

Say what you will about the recent efforts of Adam Sandler - his popularity persists.

Back in October 2014, Netflix announced it had signed the opinion-splitting actor on a four-film deal, as his titles consistently rank among the most-viewed by subscribers in regions as varied as the US, Brazil and the UK.

The Ridiculous 6 is the first offering from this unlikely pairing; a comedy Western that sees Sandler (who also co-wrote the script) star as Tommy, aka White Knife - a notorious outlaw raised by Native Americans. Upon discovering his unlikely paternal connection with five other no-good dead beats, the band of misfits set off to find their absconding father.

With a credit roll including the likes of Steve Buscemi, Terry Crews, Danny Trejo and Taylor Lautner, Netflix certainly isn't skimping on its original film business.

Let us know what you think of the trailer below.

The Ridiculous 6 premieres on Netflix on 11 December
