All competition entries must be received by us by no later than 6pm on 20th September 2015. No entries received after that time will be eligible.

We cannot be responsible for entries not received by us or for Films not accessible by us for technical or other reasons beyond our control, such as (by way of example only) URL links that do not work, websites that are inaccessible, Films that have been taken down by website owners, or media players that do not work. Please ensure that your URL link is correct and that your Film is viewable by way of the link supplied.

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to all residents of the UK aged 18 and over except employees (and their immediate families) of the promoter, any promoter group company, and any agents or suppliers of the promoter. Proof of age and identity may be required for the winner to claim the prize.

There is no charge for entering the competition.

JUDGING THE COMPETITION

All entries will be judged for creativity by a panel of judges from Shortlist and from the Raindance Film Festival. The five best entries as determined by the panel (the Top Five Films) will be shown at a Gala Screening at a cinema in Leicester Square on September 30th 2015 to which the persons who entered each of the Top Five Films will be invited with a guest each. The Top Five Films will also be made available for streaming on the Shortlist website www.shortlist.com.

There will be one winning entry from the Top Five Films as judged and voted for by the panel of judges. The prize for the winning Film is a voucher to the value of £1,000 usable in payment for or towards any film training course offered by Raindance in London and advertised on their website www.Raindance.org/London .  The prize will be awarded to the director of the winning Film at the after-party of the Gala Screening referred to above.  If the director cannot attend the after-party he/she must arrange for another person involved in the production of the winning Film to attend and collect the prize.  The winner will be announced on the Shortlist website on 27th September.

The decisions of the panel of judges are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

If you are the winner of the competition you agree that we may use your name, image, video footage of the prize presentation ceremony, and your town or county of residence in announcing the winner of the competition and for other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
