Seth Rogen To Play Steve Wozniak In Jobs Biopic

Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic looks to be taking shape nicely. Seth Rogen has now signed on to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak alongside Christian Bale’s tech messiah.

Considering the strains of creating such a behemoth company which would later see the pair’s relationship turn fraught, expect Rogen’s role to be a meaty one, and one that puts him in the firing line of Bale’s notoriously short-wired magnate.

It's an interesting move for Rogen. Taking a leaf out of now Oscar-nominated pal Jonah Hill’s book, his leap from comedy into serious awards-bait drama could not have come under a better project. Along with an A-list cast and crew, the script - heavily based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling tell-all biography and set around just three key moments in Jobs’s life - is being written by Aaron Sorkin, who dramatised Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin's Facebook founding tale so memorably.

And before you think you’re getting déjà vu, we should remind you that Ashton Kutcher played Jobs in a biopic last year. But the less said about that the better.
