Quentin Tarantino has revealed his favourite character that he's written

It's not Vincent from Pulp Fiction. We're starting there because you're going to need time to recover. It's not Vincent from Pulp Fiction. There's only one explanation for this: Quentin Tarantino is wrong about his own opinions.

Speaking at the Jerusalem Film Festival, Tarantino opened up about his favourite creation, revealing that Hans Landa, the Jew Hunter from Inglourious Basterds, played by Christoph Waltz, takes his top spot.

"Landa is the best character I’ve ever written and maybe the best I ever will write," he said. "I didn’t realize [when I was first writing him] that he was a linguistic genius. He’s probably one of the only Nazis in history who could speak perfect Yiddish.”

Which is great and all, but remember that bit where we said he was speaking at the Jerusalem Film Festival? Yeaaaah.
