Margot Robbie interview

Cinema has regularly cashed in on Wall Street. But nothing, repeat nothing, has brought out the debauched side of New York’s banking sector quite like Martin Scorsese’s latest Oscar-nominated picture The Wolf Of Wall Street has.

Dwarf tossing, super yachts, enough cocaine to sedate Tony Montana – nothing is off limits as the film charts the white collar criminality of real-life fraudster Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio), whose life eventually starts to crumble, along with his relationship with his fiery partner, Naomi brilliantly played by Margot Robbie.

And if you’re not yet aware of the Australian actress, you will be. She’s a revelation in the film, and funny, too - when we pinned her down for a chat, among other subjects, she not only admitted to being a possible wanted felon in Italy, but hinted that she’s part of an LA-based Australian mafia group led by the Hemsworth brothers, naturally.
