Given the complexity of the casting situation (read: Samuel would be too old to play the Jedi unless it was set in the years before he met his demise at the hands of the Dark Side) and little information on the character's back story, Edwards seems to seems to have brought up more questions than he’s answered.

 

Rather than being guilty of blurting out too much before the ink’s dry, perhaps he was hoping to fire up the rumour mill in the hope it’ll land him the project…
