Francis Lawrence talks Hunger Games 2

Coming in the middle of a rash of post-Twilight young adult adaptations, expectations were middling for The Hunger Games. But, defying our slightly cynical expectations, it emerged as a fresh and frightening film which also made a whopping $691 million worldwide.

One of the biggest surprises was how well Pleasantville director Gary Ross handled the action, meaning all eyes are on Constantine's Francis Lawrence as he takes on helming duties for hugely-anticipated sequel Catching Fire.

We sat down with him to discuss pleasing fans, what we can expect in the final Hunger Games movies and what he thinks of the Constantine TV show.
