Fascinating supercut of books in Wes Anderson Movies

Few directors have such a distinctive visual style as Wes Anderson, but we'd never before realised just how much he loves books.

We suppose it stands to reason: much like his films, books are often sentimental, have their own stories - both literally and figuratively - and are crafted with loving care. And we'd say that this videoclip has been compiled with a similar amount of attention to detail.

The creation of The A To Z Review, it features the likes of Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel, exploring how they incorporate books, narration and authors into their storylines and cinematography.

The A to Z Review sums it up, saying "These movies have a clear message: books preserve stories, for they exist within them and live on through them".
