Big Lebowski Soundtrack to Receive First-Ever Vinyl Release

It's one of the most-loved cult films ever and boasts a seriously awesome musical backdrop - yet The Big Lebowski soundtrack has, strangely, never actually received a release on vinyl.

That is, until now - as it's been announced that it will be issued on the music-lover's format of choice, to celebrate US Record Store Day's Black Friday on November 28th.

Naturally, it'll be released on cream-coloured vinyl and it's likely to be limited edition, as it's an exclusive release for the Record Store Day. All the classic tracks from the 1998 Coen brothers movie will be present and correct, including the Gipsy Kings' Hotel California, Bob Dylan's The Man In Me and, of course, Kenny Rogers and the First Edition's Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In), which soundtracks the famous dream sequence.

If you don't own a record player, then perhaps now is the time to invest in one; after all: it'll really tie the room together.
