That is what happens in The Big Sick, directed by Michael Showalter (Wet Hot American Summer) and starring Kumail Nanjiani (Hot Tub Time Machine 2) and Zoe Kazan (Ruby Sparks), and you can watch it for free with the Shortlist Film Club.
