In a move that will surely amuse the many criminals that he's tracked down in the past, British immigration officials have refused Dog the Bounty Hunter entry to the UK.

The reality TV star, who recently saw his show cancelled after eight seasons, had his visa application denied as he was convicted for murder in the 70s.

Dog, real name Duane, was left "dumbfounded" by the decision as he fells that his presence on television should be enough to erase the memories of what he did as a youth.

In 1976, Chapman was in a car outside a house where a friend shot a drug dealer.

His overseas trip was related to an offer to take part in Celebrity Big Brother which starts this week. He claims that the refusal has "stunned" him financially.

Apparently the UK Border Agency claim it was also down to a lack of information on his application.
