Call it what you will, Stranger Things has some explaining to do. 

CollegeHumor has plumbed the depths of the apparent inaccuracies of Netflix's Eighties-tinged hit in this superb parody video, highlighting all the references, objects and events that the show's 1983 setting appears to fudge. 

From film releases to console excitement, here are some of the 'mistakes' that snuck their way in.
