Marks & Spencer's Dinosaur Apology

Better than a Percy Pig. Just.

Marks & Spencer's Dinosaur Apology
12 September 2011

Age is a funny thing. Along with grey hair, wrinkles and the desire to make sure the bins have been taken away by the council every week, there’s also one stereotypical act that men will undertake at some point in our lives: the writing of the angry letter.

Case in point is Mr Bill Bennett who, disgruntled by the fact that he’d shelled out over a pound more for a Marks & Spencer salmon sandwich wrote to the store to tell them how unhappy he was.

But as Bennett didn’t get his hard-earned cash back quick enough he asked for a hand-drawn picture of a smiling dinosaur as well.

While many customer service advisors would have said no, a man named Steve Jones (AKA our new hero) sent the voucher along with the picture of the smiling dinosaur.

Thanks M&S, we know you really care.
