eBay banning the sale of spells
16 August 2012

Bad news for all you online-savvy witches and warlocks out there. The digital jumble sale that is eBay is about to drain all of the evil fun from your life.

From the end of the month, they are banning the sale of curses, spells, hexes, potions and plenty of other items within the "metaphysical" category.

Apparently magical transactions are "difficult to resolve", mainly because they revolve around totally intangible items. The witchcraft community are not best pleased and a petition called "Don't Ban Our Psychics" has already gained around 800 signatures. We've seen enough movies to know you don't want to annoy someone with magical powers.

eBay has often been in the press for a variety of strange auctions, from the guy who tried to sell the American Dream to the woman who tried to sell her soul. There's no confirmation on whether other unusual items are also getting culled.
