Virtual Reality Powered Tron Light Cycle

There will always be an air of trepidation when encountering an arcade machine based around Tron, that film series synonymous with sucking grown men into pixelated worlds to do battle atop luminous bikes.

Though it’s clearly a risk worth taking for the RiftCycle Project. Designed by indie developer The Arcade Man, this Tron Legacy light cycle replica not only looks like a prop from the recent 3D blockbuster, but, incorporating the virtual reality headset Oculus Rift, pretty much feels like you’re revving your engine in a computerised realm.

You probably don't need us to tell you - with Oculus Rift still someway off a general release date itself, it doesn’t look like this beauty will be gracing your local arcade anytime soon.

So until then, check the video below and pray your desk starts to wobble.
