When will men in hooded robes learn that opening portals into sinister realms is never a good idea?

This familiar trope (see Buffy, True Blood, Sherlock Holmes, Neil Gaiman's Sandman for further context) is the focus of the latest trailer for stealth action game Thief.

With Garrett's city teetering on the brink of collapse, the notorious pick-pocket finds himself pulled into a mix of politics and conspiracy when his apprentice falls (quite literally) into the middle of dark deeds.

Give the latest trailer a watch below, and keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the Garrett's latest foe...

Thief will be available from 25 February 2014
