Got yourself a next-gen console? You lucky thing. You'll probably be wanting some shiny games to show it off? Well, The Witcher 3 just rode in to town with two trailers to show off its imposing graphics and sweeping vistas.

Taking the role of the witcher Geralt of Rivia, RPG fans will salivate over the prospect of multiple narrative options (penned by Polish fantasy author Andrzej Sapkowski), bundles of moral choices and a vast open world 35 times bigger than that of The Witcher 2. To be specific, that's VERY big.

Prepare yourself for gruff fantasy narration, a splashing of blood and an immediate bookmark in your wishlist.

The Witcher 3 is due for release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2014
